Spoiled or Rich?

“Too many people spend money they earned..to buy things they don’t want..to impress people that they don’t like.”

Will Rogers

Many people believe that money is the root of all evils. They think money makes a person to be selfish and bad. I do not think so. However, there is a fact that some are egoistic because of their wealth. Moreover, they evaluate people according to the amount of money they have. While other people stay the same even becoming super-rich. So, what is the difference between a spoiled and wealthy person?

Not Money Spoil People, People Spoil Money

Money is only a tool, and only the person defines how to apply it and how to evaluate it. I think that money is only an indicator. While receiving it, it becomes possible to see who is “true you”. If you are selfish, you will show face to the people. But if you are a kind person, even inherited wealth never change your mindset.

There Is No Difference!

Money also gives more opportunities to self-realization. As such it emphasizes your qualities. Egoistic person becomes more egoistic, a kind person becomes kinder while donating money to other poor people.

Not Ready Yet.

As a result, the only difference between spoiled and wealthy person is that spoiled people are not ready to receive this wealth. In most cases, spoiled people are those who have not earned this money on their own. Maybe they inherited it or wined a lottery. They simply do not understand that money is only a tool which can make life happier. We all are equal, so please do not evaluate people according to their budget.

  1. A convention is for the convenience. For example, money is a substitute for barter, but when money is taken too seriously, we run madly after money and forgetting ‘why’.That is insanity. It is the one sided development of human intellect, which runs automatically on its own without the guidance of wisdom and never stops to think and judge things for what they are.

  2. You’re right. I believe that the misuse of money is what makes it the root of all evil not the money itself. So the problem is from the misusers. Money is good and to be rich is great. We only have to make it in the right way and use it in the right way.
